Western Food dishes at 6B College Street
|
|
This weekend giliran saya untuk memasak, sebab every weekdays mak su masak untuk dinner manakala mama masak every morning for breakfast. Jadi sebagai chef yang graduated dari Hell Kitchen (hahahah) terpaksalah kena hell supaya berfikir untuk create makanan yang simple, no much carbohydrate (monosaccharides), dan mengenyangkan. Oleh sebab minggu lepas ke Preston dan sempatlah membeli beef drum steak.....minggu nie puan-puan kita beresipi masakan western ala college street yer.
Malaysian Park Honey Steak
Bahan-bahan
1. Beef drum steak (size terpulang)
2. Black Pepper Granular (Serbuk kasar lada hitam)
3. Fish Curry Powder (Serbuk Kari ikan)- guna serbuk kari ikan sedap berbanding kari daging
4. Sugar (sedikit gula)
5. Salt (sedikit garam)
6. Honey (madu)
7. Broccolli
8. Carrot
9. Potato
Cara membuatnya :
Bahan-bahan
Untuk Doh
1. Tepung gandum ( tak ada measurement) ikut sesedap hati
2. 1 sudu yis kering (Saccromyces cerevisae)
3. sedikit garam
4. sedikit gula
5. 1 sudu butter
6. Air suam
Untk Hiasan:
1. Cendawan
2. Oilive green
3. Tomato paste for pizza
4. udang
5. cheese
Cara membuatnya:

Batrisyia’s emerging interest in letters "B" for Batrisyia
|
|
Today i was spent my time together with Batrisyia at childcare because we send her today early at 9.40 am. I spent just for 20 min before her normal time started. During staying with her, Batrisyia found a sign in the art area and called out to me. She pointed to the letter ‘B’ on the sign and said proudly “B for Batrisyia!” Later on before i left, I was busy putting the train track away while Batrisyia was responsible for putting the magnetic letters away. As she was putting them in the basket she picked up two ‘B’s. “look two ‘B’s, B for Batrisyia” Batrisyia said proudly. She had started recognising the letters when she was at home and always type the letters of her name on the computer.
Batrisyia you’re a star! This is not first time I have noticed Batrisyia’s emerging interest in letters. Batrisyia is familiar with the letters in her name and is developing the understanding that symbols can be “read” by others, that print conveys a message, and that spoken words can be written down and read back. Batrisyia very confidently showed me her discovery of the first letter of her name. I believe having the confidence to give things a go is an important disposition for learning. Batrisyia was confident that she had the right letter and was keen to share her knowledge with me. Way to go Batrisyia! Papa & mama so impressed by your confidence in literacy.

Batrisyia - How's confidence she is now (after 6 months)
|
|
I have been told by Batrisyia's teacher (Natalie and Fiona), after rest time today they was decided to have a spontaneous mat time. The children sat in a circle and began singing the song ‘Mrs Macaroni’, a dancing song. The children in the circle sing and clap their hands and the child in the middle dances solo then picks someone to dance with them. When it was Sophie’s (Batrisyia's friend) turn to dance she picked Batrisyia to be her dance partner. Batrisyia grinned from ear to ear while she was in the middle of the circle. Batrisyia loved being in the middle and picking Matthew (her friend as well) to dance with her. Batrisyia is completely confident in trying new things and joining in with large group experiences. This indicates that Batrisyia is developing a strong sense of belonging at childcare.
Batrisyia had exposed to learn how to make the slime by adding water to the lux flakes and had a go beating it. This play is a wonderful sensory experience and a tool for scientific learning, enabling children to explore scientific concepts of liquid and solid. This experience allowed Batrisyia to engage with her senses, especially her sense of touch, and encourages her to use descriptive vocabulary like “runny”, “thicker”, “slimy”, and “gooey” to describe what she has seen and feel.
Based on my 6 months and daily observation, i can tell that now batrisyia is fully confident and easy to keep in touch with all of her friends.

Batrisyia loves physical challenges
|
|
We have all noticed how much Batrisyia enjoys being outside, practising her gross motor skills by running, climbing and jumping. She loves practicing her balancing by walking over beams and shows absolutely no hesitation in jumping off the big red box. Batrisyia enjoyed challenging herself by completing the challenge course that was set up at childcare's.
Batrisyia is very curious about the world around her and has the confidence to try things out, even things that are new to her.
At childcare, Batrisyia is experiencing an environment where she is gaining confidence in and control of her body including the development of locomotor skills, non-locomotor skills, manipulative skills and increasing agility, co-ordination and balance. We will support Batrisyia and encourage her to explore physical challenges by continuing to set up challenge courses at Kiwi. I wonder if Batrisyia would like to design a challenge course.
Batrisyia can do it!

Batrisyia 1st week at Childcare Massey February 2008
|
|
Batrisyia starts every morning with a story. This has become a morning ritual and a great way for Batrisyia and Fiona (Batrisyia's teacher) to spend some one on one time together and a way for Batrisyia to begin to feel comfortable about being at Kiwi section. Batrisyia chooses a book from the bookshelf and sit with her teacher together on the couch and read it. After the story Batrisyia is usually happy to explore the environment and engage in the other experiences on offer.
The daily conversation between Batrisyia, Mama and Papa about her interests in childcare was very helpful us to examine batrisya's creativity and we have already seen Batrisyia engaging in pretend play. Batrisyia often pushes her dolls in the stroller.
Batrisyia is also an avid artist. The art corner is one of her favourite places to be in at Kiwi section, she loves creating works of art by drawing, and using paint and glitter.
Batrisyia loves water play and really concentrated on pouring the water through the funnels.
Batrisyia enjoyed playing at the playdough table everyday. She used the cutters to make shapes in her playdough. Soon a whole group of children arrived at the table but Batrisyia was unfazed. The things that are really impressed about Batrisyia during 1st week in childcare, She is very sure of her self and is confident to join groups of children and when children join her in play experiences.
After her initial reluctence to eat lunch during her first two days at Kiwi, Batrisyia now feels comfortable sitting down and eating her lunch with a big group of children. Batrisyia it has been wonderful getting to know everybody (friends and teachers) during her first week at childcare. I look forward to getting to know her in advance, even better and I can’t wait to see what else she will do next..............

Skiing 2008 at Mt Ruapehu Whakapapa Turangi New Zealand
|
|
By the way, terima kasih mak su kerana sanggup bantu kami di sini setahun yang lalu.

Hails fall at Palmy
|
|

Bolehlah dgn harga $50 dapatlah playhouse tue and batrisyia extremely happy sbb idaman dia selama ini.......

Aktiviti Beriadah di Hujung Minggu
|
|
Nasib baik ditemukan dgn coach taufik wood....at least dia ajar kami teknik bermain dgn betul termasuklah cara swing, penggunaan iron, dan teknik putting.
